HOUSE MANAGER
Performing Arts/Movie Venue
Part-Time
Four to twenty hours a week.
Job Summary
The House Manager oversees all public areas of the theatre, ensuring that the experience of every patron is pleasant, enjoyable and safe. Experience working with the public, strong organizational and communication skills, and previous theatre experience a plus.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Open and close facility; ensure facility is safe, operational and presentable

Manage volunteer activities

Provide excellent customer service to patrons

Coordinate with box office and stage crew
-
Manage concessions operation – banks, credit card machines, inventory
-
Resolving any patron’s complaints/issues arising during productions

Qualifications

Ability to work nights and weekends with occasional weekday afternoons
-
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-
Ability to interact in a sensitive, courteous and confident way
-
Ability to lift 30lbs
